SPLC-CRS PhD Thesis Award
The selection of the best PhD thesis carried out by a student of the SPLC-CRS is now open.
Information to be submitted:
- PhD thesis and certificate supporting thesis defense between 1/10/2021 – 30/9/2023 (pdf format, max 10 MB) ;
- CV (pdf format, max 10 MB);
- 3-min video pitch addressing the question: why should my thesis be awarded with the 2024 SPLC-CRS thesis prize? (mp4 format, max. 200 MB)
Submission deadline: December 4th, 2023
Eligilibility:
- Thesis defended between 1/10/2021 – 30/9/2023.
- Winner should register and attend the conference.
- Applicant must be a member of SPLC-CRS.
CRS Local Chapter Young Scientist Travel Grants to the 2024 CRS Annual Meeting (Bologna, July 8th - July 12th)
The CRS Local Chapter Young Scientist Travel Grants aims at promoting the connectivity between active CRS Local Chapters by providing travel grants to promising young scientists around the world to attend the CRS Annual Meetings.
The best oral and poster presentations will be awarded with the CRS Local Chapter Young Scientist Travel Grants: a $1500 travel grant for each one (member of SPLC-CRS), to participate in the 2024 CRS Annual Meeting (Bologna, July 8th – July 12th). The grants are sponsored by the CRS.

SPLC-CRS Representative in the CRS2024 Annual conference Bologna
Open call for SPLC-CRS PhD holders (PhD degree awarded until 31.12.2018) to be selected as our representative at the CRS Annual Meeting 2024 in Bologna.
Eligible members can indicate this option while submitting their abstract. The winner will have the registration for the CRS Annual Meeting 2024 covered by the SPLC-CRS, in addition to the opportunity to present his/her work at our conference in February.
